Theme: All the stories in the Bible are connected in pointing to Jesus.

Goal: In this class, students will how the various stories told in the Bible relate to one another and collectively tell the story of Jesus. Students will learn connections and correlations between the 66 books provided for us by God as they develop a big-picture view of the Bible.

Secondary Goal: Students will also learn the 17 Time Periods (a method of categorizing the Bible stories to help us understand them better).

This class will be focused on tumbling basics and obstacle course training games such as Ninja Warrior and The Floor is Lava. This will be a fun time with music, learning balance, jumping, and spacial awareness. 

Students will learn and participate in a variety of field sports, including Capture the Flag, Human Tic-tac-toe, Human Battleship, Philippine Dodgeball, Kickball and more. Field sports will be held outside as weather permits, so make sure they are dressed appropriately, hats and gloves if needed. When it rains, or temperatures are too cold, we are hoping to have the gym available for those days. If not, they'll do inside games in a class room, like 7-up, etc. Students will learn team building, coordination and good sportsmanship.

This class will cover the very basics of stage performance, acting, and public speaking. The learning will culminate in the class performing some skit-like material which you might see as a pre-show to the high school production this spring. (Sign up and stay tuned)

Students are responsible to bring a notebook and pencil to class

Accept a challenge each week to build a playdoh scene. Sometimes you will work on your own and other days we will complete challenges with your team.

Tips for making animals, flowers, plants, etc. will be taught during the class. Playdoh will be provided. 

This elective will introduce students to the wonderful Spanish language and its cultures. Students will work to learn the alphabet, everyday words, and common phrases. We will work together to write and read in Spanish at the beginner level.

This is a hands on play time class. We will have space for creative play with buildinig items. Blocks, Lincoln logs, playdoh, sensory items and more. 

In this class, we will look at the importance of understanding Scripture as one cohesive story written by God through about 40 different people over about 1500 years!
