Students will learn and participate in a variety of field sports, including Capture the Flag, Human Tic-tac-toe, Human Battleship, Philippine Dodgeball, Kickball and more. Field sports will be held outside as weather permits, so make sure they are dressed appropriately, hats and gloves if needed. When it rains, or temperatures are too cold, we are hoping to have the gym available for those days. If not, they'll do inside games in a class room, like 7-up, etc. Students will learn team building, coordination and good sportsmanship.

This class will cover the very basics of stage performance, acting, and public speaking. The learning will culminate in the class performing some skit-like material which you might see as a pre-show to the high school production this spring. (Sign up and stay tuned)

In this class, we will look at the importance of understanding Scripture as one cohesive story written by God through about 40 different people over about 1500 years!

This second nine-week class will build upon the concepts taught in the first drumming elective. Students will continue to practice reading drum notation while learning more about syncopation, accents, and playing a variety of different time signatures.

Welcome to the exciting world of zine-making! ZINE as in magaZINEs. In this course, kids will learn how to create their own mini magazines full of their favorite stories, illustrations, and ideas. To help these young creatives navigate this fun adventure of making zines, we will make our own imaginary travel zines! We will teach them how to use maps, photos, illustrations & imagination to travel and learn about the world! While creating their own zines, they can dive into the art of storytelling and character development, and practice writing and drawing skills to bring their zines to life. We'll also learn how to use cool tools like scissors, glue, and markers to make our zines look super professional. And at the end of the course, we'll have a zine-making showcase where we can share our creations with each other.

Students in 3rd - 6th grade will learn to play progressively more challenging songs on the recorder, using the incredibly motivating Recorder Karate program! For students who have already taken Recorder Karate this semester, they will continue to move forward by playing songs that are “Beyond the Black Belt.”
